Tomorrow we will say farewell to our wonderful 6th Class as they officially reach the end of their primary school journey at St. Patrick's NS, Dromard. It has been a privilege to watch each of these amazing young people grow from nervous Junior Infants into confident, caring, talented and kind young adults. They have filled our classrooms with laughter, friendship, determination, creativity and countless memories that will stay with us for many years to come. Today our victorious mixed team were presented with their medals for their recent final win in the Cumann na mBunscol Division 2B final. Thank you to team coach Paul Hourican, Dromard GAA chairman James McAvennia and to all the Dromard GAA players who presented the medals to our team members today. Fantastic activity today in St.Patrick's National School Dromard for our annual sports day. Well done to our wonderful 6th class for running all the different stations. Great participation by all the children and a great day was had. Congratulations also to our 6th Class in their victory in the students vs teachers soccer match. In a tightly contested affair, it was MJs glancing header in the closing seconds which won it for 6th class on the scoreline of 3-2. Great performances by all. We hope all the teachers haven't got too many aches and pains after a titanic battle with sixth class πŸ˜† πŸ˜… Well done to all involved in a great sports day amd thanks to Ms.Duffy for all her hard work πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

Butterfly pavilion in Infants! πŸ¦‹ πŸ¦‹ JI and SI have been learning about the lifecycle of the butterfly. They have watched the lifecycle unfold in real time and today the butterflies will hopefully be released, weather permitting!
